STROMSBURG – The idea of an improved aerial attack for Cross County’s varsity football team was no passing fancy for second-year coach Matt Carroll, who examined the skill set of his 2023 offense and hoped for a more balanced scheme.
For at least one period last Friday, the passing game looked pretty good, certainly good enough to whet Carroll’s appetite for more.
