STROMSBURG — The Polk County Slammers dropped a close one last Tuesday to Class C No. 8 Twin River, 3-2.
Emma Recker and Courtney Sunday each went 2-for-3 at the plate as the Slammers hammered out 9 hits in the game. Lindee Kelley, Kylee Krol, Kaleena Nuttelman, Mady Berggren and Elizabeth Rutherford all recorded hits in the loss.
