    At the beginning of September, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued new staffing standards for nursing homes and long-term care (LTC) facilities. They want nursing homes to provide safe and quality care for the residents in Medicare and Medicaid-certified LTC facilities. Nationwide this number is over 1.2 million residents.
