Jon A. Rystrom, a Stromsburg 1973 graduate passed away in 1993 at the age of 38 while serving in the Navy. His aircraft crashed off the coast of Italy. His body, along with the other four crew members’ bodies, were never found. He left a wife and two daughters.
His widow, Kris Rystrom Emmert has written a book “A Navy Widow’s Journey to Hope”. She never received answers as to why the plane crashed.…
