    Lauran Ostberg, Stromsburg librarian, is fairly new to her job with just a year as librarian. She had an idea for a Christmas open house at the library, having previously worked at a bank, she knew banks often had these. Then she thought why not invite local authors to set up, and then she had the idea of adding local vendors. The Christmas market was born. These are popular in Sweden and Finland.
