After a last-second shot by Ashton Seim to defeat the David City Scouts and a relatively easy 89-56 win over East Butler, the Cougars traveled to Auburn to face the number two (according to NSAA) C1 undefeated team. This was a tall task for any team, and the Cougars seemed up for the challenge. However it would end with Auburn keeping their streak alive with the 68-50 win.
