Mary Ellen “Toodie” Wobig

Mary Ellen (Toodie) Schaecher Wobig, age 97, was born July 16, 1926, in Lindsay, Nebraska to Leo and Clara Schaecher. She passed away on January 22, 2024, in her daughter’s home in Lincoln, Nebraska. Toodie was the youngest of four girls. She attended Holy Family School, graduating in 1944.

Jerrold “Jerry” Thelen

Jerrold “Jerry” Thelen was born on July 11, 1941, to Hubert and Naomi (Clobes) Thelen in Great Bend, Kansas, and passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, in Columbus, Nebraska. The family moved to Shelby, Nebraska, in 1946. Growing up, Jerry was active in many sports and the Boy Scouts.

Welcome LucilleAlt died peacefully on December 22nd, 2023. She celebrated her 100th birthday in August. Welcome is survived by her daughter Del and her triplet daughters, Becky, Barbara and Beverly. She leaves behind seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
