Is Volunteerism Dead?

Every meeting I go to, I constantly hear there aren’t enough volunteers. Or volunteers are getting old and there is no one to take their place. Why?
Are younger people not volunteering? I think some are and some maybe aren’t. Is there too much to volunteer for? Do we need to cut down on how many clubs, events, activities there are? I would definitely say yes.
