Dear Editor, The leaders of the Young Patriots of Osceola wish to express that our goal is to help make the Osceola 3rd through 5th grade students better informed citizens by: appreciating our flag, our pledge, and our country’s patriotic holidays, singing and playing America’s anthems and discovering the meaning of words, honoring our veterans, their courage and their sacrifice, growing in understanding the wisdom, bravery and sacrifice of our Founding Fathers, and to explore the meaning and purpose of the Three Branches of Government and the U.S. Constitution.
We have been endorsed by Osceola Post 91 American Legion family, the Nebraska State Supreme Court justices, Senator Deb Fischer and former state representative Kolterman. We have also been a National American Legion Auxiliary Children and Youth Star-Spangled Kids Award winner.
We are NOT connected with any other Patriots group.
