Welcome to 2022 people. Recently national news was made not too far from here when the Grand Island Northwest Public Schools made the decision to eliminate its journalism program and the student newspaper.

In junior high I had a project in AWANA to navigate to a location using only basic instructions and a compass. My dad took me out to the farm where he grew up and had me go through a more rugged part of the land.

High School Sports Back in Full Swing

This may just be my favorite time of the year. School is back in session (sorry kids) and the weather is starting to get cooler. And student athletes are back on the field and court competing once again. High school sports are back.

Older Nebraskans Day at the State Fair
