ALAN’S ANECDOTESEven when my oldest was little, he was good about asking for permission to do things. Sometimes he would ask me for permission and I would tell him, “It’s OK with me if it’s OK with your mom.” So, he would ask her and she would say, “It’s OK with me if it’s OK with your dad.

BETH’S BITSA new year is almost upon us or will be here when you read this. It’s 2026. How did the year fly by so fast? The older I get, the faster it goes. I never believed “old” people when they said something like that, but now I do.
