Progressives Part 2

Last week I talked about what Progressives believed in the late 19th century and early 20th century. In a nutshell, (and in the most positive light possible), they used government regulation and science to try to improve human existence.

State Legislature & the Ballot

Burn Ban Continues in Dry Weather

LINCOLN – Governor Jim Pillen signed an executive order extending a burn ban due to continued dry conditions in the central and western regions of Nebraska. The new order remains in effect until midnight May 20.

Thankful for Nurses
