Grassroots government is thriving in Nebraska. There are eight petitions circulating with hopes of making the 2024 General Election ballot, according to Secretary of State Bob Evnen. The action is guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S.

Over the weekend I found out that a friend from my youth group growing up had been struggling with depression. He shared in a Facebook post how he fought the battle by himself, fell into a bottle and almost took his life last year. I nearly lost him and I never knew it. It broke my heart.

This last week, I saw many kids and teenagers with a passion for animals, like the one you see below. Or at least I assume they have a passion for animals. I mean they clean poop out of stalls for free. Who does that? I clean one litter box, and don’t enjoy it.
