SRC Girls Win Osceola Invite; Dawgs Tie for 2nd; HPC Boys 3rd

OSCEOLA - Osceola held their track invite a day late due to weather. Three schools could not come because of the changed date (Nebraska Lutheran, Nebraska Christian and Humphrey St. Francis) but one was added (Burwell).

Titan Baseball Scores Second Win

GENOA — Twin River scored 8 runs in the final two innings to come from behind and beat Centennial 11-7 and earn their second win on the season. Trailing 5-3, the Titans (2-3) opened the bottom of the fifth inning with back-to-back batters getting hit by pitches.

SRC Girls Win Sutton Invite

Polk County News SUTTON - Osceola and Shelby- Rising City track teams made the trip to Sutton for track last Tuesday. The Shelby-Rising City girls came in first (94 points) with Osceola girls right after in second (81 points).

Twin River-Osceola Enter Year Two of Co-Op

GENOA — Twin River has entered year No. 2 of its baseball coop with Osceola. This year’s squad features 11 players from Twin River and six players from Osceola.

Twin River Baseball Loses to Ralston

GENOA — Twin River gave up 10 runs in the top of the seventh inning as Ralston rallied for a 16-9 win. The Titans (1-3) were three outs away from their second win of the season on Thursday when the Rams started their comeback bid.

Osceola Track Returns a Strong Team

Osceola looks to have a fairly strong track team, led by one senior and eight juniors. The girls are coming off their first state championship and have five returning state qualifiers. Notably missing are Fayth Winkelman who moved and senior Rori Wieseman.

Concordia Indoor Invite Results
