LINCOLN — State Senator Jana Hughes has signed on to a bill that would provide funding for the U.S. Highway 81 improvement project.

High Plains Inducts Students into National Honor Society

On Wednesday, January 11, the HPC National Honor Society inducted new members into their organization. 9 new members joined the group this year, almost doubling the number of members in the select organization.

The Polk County News has a pair of tickets to the Blake Shelton concert on Thursday, Feb. 16 to give away. The concert will be at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. The winner is responsible for their own transportation and parking.
