SHELBY — The Huskies girls picked up their first win of the season thanks to a fast start as Shelby-Rising City beat Twin River 48-26 at home.The Huskies opened the game with a 13-0 run, holding the Titans scoreless for most of the opening quarter.

Watts to Run Track and Field at College of St. Mary’s

SHELBY- On the first day that high school seniors could sign their college letter of intents, Shelby-RC senior Danica Watts inked with the College of St. Mary’s to become a Flames Track and Field star for the Omaha School on Wednesday, December 3.Danica plans to major in Physical Therapy.

HUSKIES DREAM SEASON ENDS IN D-1 SEMIFINALS

SHELBY-Both the Crofton Warriors and the Shelby-RC Huskies made their living this season on the ground.The Warriors came in averaging 328.2 yards per game and the Huskies 274.6.So in a game so dominated by the run game, one huge pass play by either team could come down to the difference.With 38.
