POLK-It was a tale of two completely different games, but in the end the result was the same in both for the Polk County Slammers.
Polk County was held to three hits against Central City in an 11-2 loss on Tuesday at Polk, but bounced back on the offensive side with 15 hits and 10 runs in the 11-9 eight inning loss to Boone Central on Thursday at Cross County High School.
