    HASTINGS — Only one team leaves Hastings happy this week. Everyone else leaves with tears in their eyes.

    Polk County saw its softball season come to an end on Thursday, losing to NEN 12-4 in 6 innings. Thursday’s match up was between two teams making their first appearance in the Class C State Tournament.
