CENTRAL CITY — The Slammers live to play another day.
The Polk County Slammers will play at Class C No. 7 Gothenberg at noon on Saturday in the C-7 District Final.
The Slammers had to wait until Tuesday afternoon to hear if they earned a wildcard to advance to the district finals after losing to Central City 5-4 in 8 innings Monday night.
