WISNER — Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.
The Polk County Slammers traveled to Wisner for the NEN Viper Softball Tournament. The Slammers were perfect on the day, opening with a 16-0 win over O’Neill, a 9-4 win over Pierce and capped the championship day with a 10-8 win over the host NEN.
