STROMSBURG — Cross County continued its winning ways Friday night, scoring early and often as the Cougars defeated Brownell Talbot 74-16.
The Class D-1 No. 2 Cougars (2-0) set up camp in the end zone for most of the opening quarter taking a commanding 50-8 lead.
Jackson Lindburg and Izaac Dickey each rushed for two touchdowns in the game. Lindburg intercepted a pass and took it 70 yards for a score.
