STROMSBURG — Cross County blew a 15 point fourth quarter lead to Mead on Wednesday in the opening round of the Runza Holiday Tournament, falling 57-55.
The Class C-2 No. 7 Cougars went 1-for-7 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter as the Class D-1 No. 1 Raiders chipped away at the lead, tying the game at 55-all with less than a minute to play.
