Gage Friesen will compete in two events at state, the 4x100-meter relay and the 4x400-meter relay.
Osceola hosted the Class D-2 district track meet with eleven teams competing. Osceola boys came in fourth place with 50 points, and just edging them out was High Plains in third with 73 points.
Individually the Osceola boys had four qualify for state: Isaiah Zelasney in the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes; Alexx Winkelman in the 400 and 800 meters, Kelby Neujahr in pole vault and Kale Gustafson…
