Huskies End Season With A Shut-Out from Cougars

    FAIRFIELD - The Huskies saw their season come to an end Friday after being shut out on the road.

    Class D-1 No. 1 Sandy Creek (11-0) handed No. 8 Shelby-Rising City (9-2) a 54-0 loss on a rainfilled night. The Cougars are the only team to defeat the Huskies this year, getting a 28-6 win on Sept. 6. Friday's rematch had a trip to the Class D-1 semifinals on the line. Sandy Creek will take on Lourdes …
