Huskies Finish 12th at GICC Invite

GRAND ISLAND — Shelby-Rising City girls golf finished in 12th place Thursday at the GICC Invite at Indianhead Golf Club in Grand Island.

The Huskies shot a 553, finishing 265 over par at the event. Broken Bow shot a 353 to take team honors.

Aurora Slusarski was the Huskies top golfer, shooting a 116. Clare Willis finished with a 139. Lillian Wetjen shot a 146 and Lila Widdle finished with a 152. Lillian Weddle shot a 174.

The Huskies head to Quail Run in Columbus Thursday for the Lakeview Invite.
