Huskies Finish 7th at Seward Invite

SEWARD — Shelby-Rising City finished 7th on Friday at the Seward Invite.

The Huskies finished with a team score of 456. Senior Aurora Slusarski shot a 104 to finish in the top 25 for the day. Jenna Logan shot a 105. Clare Willis finished with a 120 and Loralie Logan finished with a 127.

“I thought we competed well at Seward on Friday,” Huskies coach Sara Jensen said. “We scored much better than we did last Friday in Beemer. We’re still young and have a lot to work on, but I am excited by the progress we’ve already made and seeing some consistency being built.”

The Huskies are back in action Thursday at the GICC Invite at Indianhead Golf Club.
