DAVID CITY — Blue River picked up a pair of home wins on Tuesday.
The Panthers (11-3) made quick work of the Raiders, defeating Logan View/ Scribner-Snyder 16-4 in three innings.
Danica Watts, Sierra Rhynalds, Meagan Jahde and Rylie Carter all went 2-for-2 from the plate in the first game. Watts finished with 4 RBI. Nicole Martensen added 3 RBI, while Carter and Rhynalds each had 2 RBI. Martensen hit a home run in the win. Autumn Lindsley pitched all three innings, scattering 8 hits, giving up 4 runs and striking out 2 batters.
Blue River also defeated Tekamah-Herman 9-8. Nicole Martensen hit a home run in the win, her second on the day and fourth on the year.
The Panthers are back in action Thursday when they travel to Central City to take on the Bison (7-3).
