SHELBY — There was snow and ice on the roads outside, but Taya Pinneo was on fire on the basketball court and she had ice in her veins.
The Shelby-Rising City sophomore point guard broke the school record for made three-point baskets in a game by hitting seven long-range shots in a 47-35 win over Dorchester on Thursday. Pinneo finished with a career-high 30 points in the contest.
