    BEATRICE- This past Thursday the Blue River Panthers had a chance to set themselves up for a chance to play for the B-2 District Softball championship on Friday, but a two-step process lay in front of them to make that happen.

    First they needed to win their opening game against the Lexington Minutemaids, then find a way to defeat a seasoned Elkhorn Antlers squad in the semifinals.
