    BRAINARD – The Cougars had a couple girls out for different reasons but still accomplished the win 51-36 against East Butler.

    The first quarter started close, but the Cougars pulled ahead. Edie Peterson led the first quarter with ten of their 15 points. East Butler put up seven. The second quarter Ella Clark and Beretta Webb hit treys. Cross County still led 31-15 at half.
