OSCEOLA-The Polk County Slammers had a pair of games this past week as they hosted the Twin River Titans in Osceola and traveled to Chanticleer country to battle the Ord girls on Thursday.
In Tuesday night’s game at Osceola, no lead was safe as Twin River led 4-1 at the end of the first inning, but a four run Polk County fourth put the hosts out on top 9-7.
