    Slammers Drop a Close One
    ST. PAUL – Polk County dropped a close one on the road on Tuesday, Aug. 29, falling to St. Paul 4-2. The Slammers fell behind 2-0 after the first inning and did not get on the board until fourth inning when they scored two runs to pull within a run. St. Paul added an insurance run in the fifth inning to hold off Polk County. The Slammers managed just 6 hits in the contest....
