After frittering away a 13-4 lead, the 14u Rebels representing Polk County scored a run in the bottom of the sixth inning to edge Palmyra 14-13 to move to 8-9 overall heading into their last regular season game and the league tourney.

STROMSBURG- The Cross County football program has bounced around between Class C2 and Class D1 like a ping pong ball.In 2015 the Cougars were part of the D1 class, 2016 and 2017 they went back up to 11-man football, but were back in the eight-man game from 2018 to 2023.
