Storm Track Teams Close Regular Season at Sandy Creek

FAIRFIELD- The final track and field meet of the 2026 regular season for the High Plains Storm took place on Thursday at Sandy Creek High School.The Russ Snyder Invite had10 girls and 10 boys teams with Axtell winning the girls team title and Kenesaw the boys.

POLK- After all the success that High Plains athlete Brodey Spurling had at the Nebraska State Track and Field Meet last year, it would have probably been most people’s guess that with all that, he would pursue track at the next level.

Twin River’s Season Ends With 12-0 Loss to Lincoln Christian at C-5 Districts

LINCOLN-On Thursday the Twin River baseball season came to an end with a 12-0 five inning thud at Lincoln Christian in the opening round the Class C-5 districts.The Titans only managed one hit against Lincoln Christian starter Drew Mittan who threw five innings and struck out six batters.

YORK- TheYork Country Club and the York Junior Varsity golf team hosted the 2026 York Classic on Wednesday.A total of 16 teams battled for the top spots both individually and team wise.
