BRAINARD – Osceola freshman Kalisyn Prososki picked a good time to make her lone three-point basket of the game Thursday night, a bank shot at the top of the key with about 40 seconds left, that gave her team the lead and her two foul shots finished off a 53-48 thriller at East Butler.

CRETE- The High Plains Storm girls wrestling team joined a field of 17 teams on Saturday at the Crete Invite.Lexington came away with the team championship rolling up 228.5 points to second place Beatrice with 173 and third place Ralston who totaled 138.

Osceola Wrestling Invite Features Several Local Teams

OSCEOLA-The Osceola Bulldogs held their annual pre-Christmas Wrestling Invite on Saturday and the Yutan Chieftains came away with the team title as they scored 135 points edging Southern who finished the day with 122.

CEDAR BLUFFS-When the season got underway for the Shelby-RC girls basketball team, Hayden Hopwood had never played a varsity basketball game.The freshman is quickly making a name for herself as she came into Friday nights game at Cedar Bluffs, averaging 17 points scoring per game, 16.
