Golf for CC Booster Club

The Cross County Booster Club is gearing up for the 17th annual Golf Tournament and Fund-raiser. Two-person teams can sign-up now for the July 23 scramble at Ryan Hill Country Club. The cost is $60 per person and lunch is included. Players can have a mulligan for $10 per person.

Libraries receive $332k in grants

The Nebraska Library Commission recently awarded Library Improvement Grants for 2022 totaling $332,471 to 74 Nebraska public libraries, a library consortium, and a state-run institutional library.

Schools Out for Summer, But Staffs Remain Busy

School may be out for the summer, but there still is plenty of action taking place at schools all across the nation and Polk County is no different. From school maintenance to summer camps, meals or teachers working to improve ahead of the next school year, schools are staying busy.
