Peterson sisters combine for 36 points in 55-39 Cougar win

POLK – Olive Peterson scored 19 points and sister Eden added 17 more as Cross County extended its win streak to five games with a 55-39 win at High Plains Saturday night.Olive Peterson tallied 12 of her points in the first half as the Cougars (16-6) took a 28-17 lead into the break.

Cougars Pick up Wins Over Knights and Storm

POLK – Benji Cooper finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds and Sawyer Anderson and Colter Larson added 11 points apiece as Cross County beat host High Plains 71-44 Saturday night to move to 15-3 on the season.

Cougars Win Over McCool in Semis

YORK – Tuesday night was the CRC girls’ semifinals. First was Osceola vs. Dorchester, and the Dawgs came out on top, 37-29. Cross County finished out the night defeating McCool Junction 56-42.

CC girls lose to C-2 power Thayer Central

STROMSBURG - Sometimes the shots go in, sometimes they don't.On Thursday night, Cross County's girls basketball team suffered through a tough shooting first half, trailing 26-11 en route to a 39-26 non-conference home loss to Thayer Central.

Cougar Girls Improve to 10-5 with Wins Over Twin River and DC

DAVID CITY – Ella Clark was back after injury and helped propel the Lady Cougars to a 10-point win against David City, 50-40.The whole game wasn’t a guaranteed Cougar win, as the Scouts did almost catch up.

SUTTON - Cross County got off to an early start, and came home with the win over the Mustangs 61-48.The early start was thanks in part to Benson Seim hitting three treys in the first quarter for nine of the Cougars’ 18 points. Sutton’s Myles Smith had five of Sutton’s 12 points in the first quarter.
Top- Cross County/Osceola junior Jed Berggren was the bracket champion at 150 pounds.

Twisters Score Top Five Team Finish at Malcolm Invite

MALCOLM- A total of 16 teams were in action on Saturday at the Malcolm Wrestling Invite.The only local team to make the trip was Cross County/Osceola and the Twisters had a top five finish in the team race as they amasses 115.5 points and took home fourth place.
