OSCEOLA — Dawg Daze, Osceola’s annual fall festival, returns next week ahead of Friday’s Homecoming Game against Palmer.
This year the school is celebrating its 80th Homecoming. As a way to celebrate, stop by Pinnacle Bank, Gathering Grounds or the city office to pick up a sheet for the Homecoming Scavenger Hunt. Return your sheet on Friday, Sept. 16 at the pocket park by 5 p.m. The Osceola Community Action Group sponsors the scavenger hunt.
The festival kicks off Sunday with the Osceola Fire & Rescue Pancake Feed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the firehouse. There will be a pie and ice cream social from 1-3 p.m. at Andrea’s Family Diner.
The boys basketball team is holding a fundraiser, Driving with the Dawgs Road Rally. Meet at the high school gym at 3 p.m. Sunday. The cost is $10 per team.
Friday, Sept. 16 will be a busy day also. The parade is at 1:30 p.m. The pep rally will follow the parade at the north gym.
Homecoming Scavenger Hunt:
Pick up from Pinnacle Bank, Gathering Grounds, or the City Office. Return to the pocket park by 5 PM on Friday the 16th.
