Bob Zelasney is a legacy at the Osceola ball field. He has hung up his baseball glove after coaching for 33 consecutive years. Bob is still an assistant boys’ basketball coach.
Al Willits of Osceola got a hole in one on hole #2 at the Julie Miller Memorial Tournament held Saturday June 30 at Ryan Hill Country Club in Osceola.

Fifty-eight women played golf at Ryan Hill Country Club this week. Low scratch was Kim Hablitzel with a 41. First low was a 57 by Paige Urban and Renee Johansen. Mary Russell was the winner of the Ladies Club Handicap tournament with a score of 60.

Ross R. Watts of rural Osceola will be re-arraigned Monday, August 24th in District Court on seven additional charges, stemming from an investigation completed by the Polk County Sheriff’s Department this past March.
