SHELBY - Thursday morning, Representative Mike Flood visited the Shelby Rural Fire District. Several volunteer firefighters were on hand to meet and talk to him.
Chief Jon Eller reported they have 38 members on their roster, but about 15 are considered “active”. They have about 10 EMTs for their ambulance.
Their ambulance can transfer to Osceola, David City or Columbus Hospital. The hospital is dete…
