OMAHA - Jacob Smith, senior at Cross County, was nominated and received the DJ Hero Award. He was one of 19 Nebraska students chosen. This award is based on perseverance, generosity and servant-leadership. Smith will receive a $12,000 scholarship payable at the rate of $3000 per year (for four years).
