Wesley Absher
SHELBY — More information has been released as to the murder/ attempted suicide in Polk County last Tuesday.
The Nebraska State Patrol identified the suspect as Wesley Absher, age 40. He traveled to the business near County Road T and 127th Road, south of Shelby. That is where he shot and killed Brian Gabel, age 44, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Gabel owned the business, Happy Hogs.
