Congressman Jeff Fortenberry Resigns After Conviction of a Felony

Congressman Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska’s First District recently sent out an email announcing his resignation from Congress effective March 31st.

This comes after a two weeklong trial in Los Angeles where he was convited on three counts of lying to the FBI for being funded by a foreign billionaire.
