Members of Chapter CN Osceola P.E.O. met for their annual Christmas party; they celebrated the 90th anniversary of their chapter. President was Jane Roberts, and Treasurer Kendra Gustafson read the chapter history.

Megan Stowe, class of 2003 at Osceola High School, has been selected to participate in the National Student Leadership Conference on Mastering Leadership, an extraordinary leadership development program for outstanding high school students.
Paul and Lisa Smith of Genoa are the proud parents of the first baby of the year born at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Health Center. Dalton Edward arrived on January 4th.
Osceola High School is pleased to announce that Diana Colling, Alto I, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Ron Colling, has been selected to participate in honor choirs across the state.
The Bulldogs posted two wins this week by outscoring Stromsburg and St. Edward to stay undefeated. Grant Willits, Reed Johnston and Dusty Retzlaff lead the Dawgs in scoring.

December 26, 1991
Steve and LaDonna Gabel announce the birth of a daughter, Jessica Ann, December 18th at Columbus Community Hospital.
Winners of the annual Record Christmas coloring contest are Abigail Jones, kindergarten; Jennifer Lacy, sixth grade; Jamie Ramsbottom, third grade.
The Osceola Bulldogs raised their record to 2-2 with their second straight win over Benedict 51-46.
FORTY YEARS AGO
December 24, 1981
More than 100 persons attended the 25th celebration dinner of the founding of Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Hospital Sunday evening, December 20th at the Shelby Legion Hall. Special guests included past and present board members. Honored also were employees who had worked at the hospital for more than ten years.
Good Samaritan Center residents enjoyed a Christmas pro gram presented by junior volun teers. Performing in the Christmas story were Philip Reimers, Paula Johnson, Julie Reimers, Marla Reimers, Susan and Kim Cerveny.
Nancy J. Boden wed Jon J. Tonniges Saturday afternoon, November 28, at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Looking for a program for an upcoming club meeting? The Osceola Centennial Commit tee has put together an interest ing group of slides of long-ago Osceola along with a short his tory of the area. Bernie Gissler is the man to contact.
Carolyn Wagner and Cathy and Barbara Schott left Sunday for Hawaii where they will attend the wedding of Carolyn’s sister, Connie.
Rev Richard Odgers, Da vid and Jane of Gordon arrived in Osceola for a visit. They are guests in the Martin Roberts, Richard Howe and Jack Tindall homes.

December 28, 1961
PFC Dean Buhl spent Christmas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Buhl and returned Wednesday to Fort Carson, Colorado.
Holiday visitors of Mrs. Rose Dinges and Roger were her sons Leroy of Kearney and Bob of Laramie, Wyoming. They all had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Reeves and family at Wahoo. Her daughters from Lincoln were also present.
Mr. and Mrs. Chris Huggler and Hardy left Thursday morning by tram for California to spend a week with their son, Clair who is stationed at Camp Pendleton.

December 27, 1951
The M.A. Mills home was judged best decorated by the Chamber of Commerce judging committee. Other prize winning decorations were at the home of Dr. and Mrs. H.S. Eklund. The most novel prize went to Mr. and Mrs. John Craven.
Max Anderson, a student at Luther College, came from Wahoo last week and is spending the holidays with his parents, the Martin Andersons.
Miss Dolores Cerny arrived Saturday morning from Denver to spend Christmas with her mother, Mary Cerny and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. George Hruska and sons came from Omaha Sunday to spend the holiday in the same home.
