Osceola swept the Polk County spelling bee with Wynn Cannon, Ben Lohrman and Megan Johnson of Osceola taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively in the 5th and 6th grades. Elsie Spahn of Osceola took first place for 7th and 8th graders, with Christian Schleif and Cy Cannon of Osceola taking 3rd and 4th places respectively.
