Poetry Slam was held at Shelby-Rising City School with parents and students reading poetry in the gym.
Shelby juniors spent a day visiting area businesses to learn about different careers. After learning about a career, they heard from Dave Zielke, regional operations manager of Union Farmers Cooperative.
