On Friday noon, Marilyn Dey invited her sister Rosalie Hillmer of York and Jan Sabin of Lincoln for lunch to celebrate their Christmas together at the Seward Country Club in Seward.

Tom and Judi Luettel enjoyed Christmas shopping in Lincoln on Friday. While there they dined out with their daughter, Shelby Luettel.

Craig and Vadra George of Utica are the parents of a new baby girl, Kyndyl Blythe George, born on December 10 2011. Grandparents are Jerry and Pam George of rural Gresham and Raymond and Bunny Crevas of Atlanta Georgia. Great-grandparents are Dick and Jan George and Robert Liedtke.

Judi Luettel and Art and Shirley Richter attended the Centennial junior high wrestling invite on Saturday, in Utica. Conner is an 8th grader on the team and earned a 3rd place medal.

Bob and Adelle Tonniges hosted an early family Christmas on Sunday evening. Guests included Kent and Linda Tonniges, Travis Tonniges and fiance Tracy along with her daughter Maddie, Cindy Schulte, Jay and Danielle Scheele and girls DJ and Tiffany Talbott, and girls Britney Tonniges and friend Jimmy, Paige Schulte, Ann Tonniges, Robin Moore, Kayla Moore and friend Brett.

The Gresham Community Club hosted a holiday soup dinner and a visit from Santa Claus on Sunday at the Gresham Community Center. Approximately 123 attended.

On Sunday afternoon Doug and Marilyn Dey and Mark and Tera Dey were among the family members that gathered at the home of Kim, Bailey, Garrett and Grant Richters in Utica for a potluck dinner to honor John and Carolleen (Rohren) Junge on their 40th wedding anniversary. The Junges were married at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Utica on December 11, 1971. Their children in attendance were Tim, Lindsay and Kaden Junge and Matt Junge of Lincoln, Erik, Angie, Audrey, Alex and Thomas Wilcoxson of Gretna. Brian, Nicki and Colten Junge of Joplin, MO were unable to make the trip. Other guests were Rosalie Hillmer, Nathan and Austin Milliner of York, Wm. and Jan Sabin of Lincoln and Max and Michele Martin of Lincoln.

Gerry and Pam George visited their new granddaughter, Kendyl George on Saturday Kendyl’s parents are Craig and Audra George of Eagle.
