Last Monday night (Dec. 13th) the High Plains Fellowship of Christian Athletes donned their winter apparel and loaded up on a couple wagons drawn by Gordon Gulbrandson’s beautiful draft horses. Their jingling harness bells and nostalgic clip clop of hooves could be heard echoing merrily on the quiet streets along with the melodies of the high school kids’ singing as they brightened the evening for a number of residents, even stopping at the community hall where a group was meeting for the VFW. Plates of cookies were handed out and a great evening was enjoyed by both the carolers and the residents.
