Good morning from the Polk Public Library! It is so nice outside that it almost makes me want to go sunbathing!! I don't have any baby oil so I guess I will stay inside and work.The Easter Bunny made a stop in Polk over the weekend! He left me a note that said he hid 14 eggs around Polk.

Nebraska State Fair Launches Marathon

The Nebraska State Fair is inviting artists of all ages to help celebrate America’s 250th anniversary in a creative new way.Submissions are now being accepted for the Nebraska State Fair Marathon Race Shirt Design Contest, themed America 250.

Centennial School quarter break will start Thursday, March 11th thru Monday, March 16th. Classes will resume Tuesday, March 17th.Presbyterian Church Session will meet Sunday, March 15th, following worship services.Monthly Fireman’s meeting will be Monday, March 16th, at 7:30 p.m.

One of my favorite political slogans of all time is “a solution in search of a problem.”It’s used frequently in debates at the Nebraska Legislature to describe a proposal or idea that imposes new rules and restrictions to address a problem that doesn’t exist.
