As I was sitting at Veteran’s Day services on Tuesday, I told the Quilt of Valor recipients “thank you”, and then thought really, thank you isn’t enough.There is a saying “only two people will die for you: a soldier and Jesus”.

Tomte Scavenger Hunt for Kids

The Stromsburg Woman’s Club is sponsoring a Tomte Scavenger Hunt for children ages 1-10 on Saturday, November 29th during the Lighting of the Square!The downtown square will contain 30 hidden Tomte ornaments. Children are encouraged to find ONE Tomte placed in a bag with an identifying number.
