Clarkson-Leigh Dissolving Co-Op

LEIGH - After 12 years as a co-op, Clarkson-Leigh are calling it quits. Their cooperative agreement in sports will end after the 2025-2026 school year.At their October special board meeting on Tuesday, October 21, Clarkson met to discuss the co-op. Many patrons attended that meeting and gave input.

Vrbka Wins Again (Week 10)

The winner of week ten’s football contest is Andy Vrbka who missed five. This is his second week in a row, so he cannot win again.Coming in second were six people who missed eight: Angela Pfannkuch, Linda Oder, Ken Zelasney, Nyal Rowse, Ellie Pinley and Jon Recker.There were 34 entries this week.

The Government is Shutdown, I’m Still Fighting for Nebraskans

We’re in week five of the Schumer Shutdown. Today is the 31st day. As of last week, this is now the longest full government shutdown. While on-duty people work without pay, Republicans keep voting on the only bipartisan solution to the shutdown.
